Algeria has given birth through time to several emblematic figures who have marked its history, a history that has become known over time thanks to the courage of the men and women who have shaped this nation into what it is today.

Our project consists in making known a man who in spite of his notoriety and his exploits remains unknown to the majority of us, it is about Emir Abdelkader founder of the modern Algerian state and doctrinaire of the philosophy of resistance which allowed the glorious martyrs to tear off the independence of Algeria at the expense of their lives.

“Emir Abdelkader Al Djazairi” The Film aims to change the misconception, a colonialist vision that has tried so hard in appropriating this character and constructing his history.

This ambitious film will trace the life of this great man from his beginnings as the educated son of a religious leader, to his military victories which became the foundations of the contemporary Algerian state, to his life in captivity in Amboise and his exile in Damascus, where his humanitarianism saved thousands of Christian lives, will meet international standards and captivate audiences from all backgrounds.
